Dear Chrissie....and you others
My Wednesday night meal comprised:
Three glasses of pink champagne.
Scallops in butter with parsley.
Halibut and spinach.
The food was just ok, the rest of the crowd were ridiculous. Because England were playing in France we didn't have the Beckhams or the Ferdinands to look at, which I thought was a shame.
The females chose ermin coats, which I don't approve of, off the shoulder dresses and older escorts dripping off their arms, most of them wore tans straight out of a bottle.
My companion was terrific company, we talked shared bitchery and I took a taxi home in the rain. £20 later I am in the flat, its warm and cosy and I'm ready for bed. Ah! the life of a mini celebrity eh?!!!
Jim greeted me with a kiss, the roomies are watching 'Desperate Housewives' the rest of the world is asleep and I'm delighted to be back.

I don't go in for those off the shoulder dresses myself 'cos my vest straps always show.
