The earpiece

If you have a mind and an ear, you find a place where they make hearing aids and have a mould made of your ear-hole. Pink goo is squirted into the whole ear and you have to sit really still while it dries. The mould is sent off to an earpiece moulder and voilą! - you have your very own earpiece.
Sports presenters and musical folk have an earpiece with only one hole - it cuts out extraneous noise. I have two holes so I can hear everything as I'm a busy body. It must be the only part of my anatomy that is unusually small. Then again, I do have very small ears, and my feet are tiny as is my head.
Everything else, however, is ever so massive.
